As Ramadan approaches, we are relaunching our yearly appeal targetted at providing aid for those who would otherwise receive little assistance during this month.
For millions of Muslims across the world, Ramadan is a long month of hardship. While many of us end our days with a delicious meal, others do not have this privilege, instead facing endless periods of hunger.
Our Ramadan Appeal seeks to ease some of the suffering these Muslims face by providing necessary food packages to those most in need during this month. For as little as £1.30 you could feed a family of four for one day.
Zakat-ul-Fitr is an obligation on all Muslims, who must pay the amount of £3.00 at the end of Ramadan. ORFACT allows you to pay your zakat directly to us, so we can then use the funds and distribute it to the needy.
Celebrating Eid with new clothes, gifts, and beautiful food is sadly not the reality for millions of Muslims. The ORFACT Eid Appeal generates funds to provide families with gifts and food, ensuring that Muslims all over the world can enjoy a day of happiness.
Our Qurbani Appeal uses money donated by our loyal supporters to buy an animal for local communities. It allows the donors to fulfil their Islamic duties, and also provides impoverished families access to meat.
