How ORFACT is different
We are different in that we aim to specifically target orphaned children under our sponsorship scheme, as they are the most vulnerable emotionally and financially. We also strictly allocate one sponsor per child. They will know your name and who you are too.
Our priority areas for orphan sponsorship are war zones where we remain even during periods of conflict as part of our commitment to the long-term effectiveness of our work.
Some children we select are cared for by our staff. Many of these children have nobody else to turn to and are in urgent need of support. They do not yet have a family home, making your support all the more critical.
We make no deductions out of your sponsorship for administration costs, all sponsorship payments are therefore centred around the charity’s work and on the sponsored child.
