Our Successes
With the generous help of our supporters, we have been assisting thousands of at-risk people across the world for over 25 years. To date, we have registered 14,000 orphan families, housing them in our orphan centres and providing them with a loving environment from which they can live a hopeful future. We have completed relief work in some of the most impoverished places in the world, seeking not only to provide emergency aid, but also to promote development work in order to leave lasting changes in every community we work in.

Education holds the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. It is the stepping stone towards a brighter future. Through various educational programmes and vocational training, we have assisted children who have a lack of access to educational establishments, and have also delivered programmes aimed at widows with an urgent need to learn a trade in order to earn an income.
ORFACT has been providing emergency aid to countries suffering from natural disasters, violent conflicts, and fatal diseases for over two decades. We have worked in countries in the midst of the most devastating circumstances, offering relief in the immediate aftermath. We work alongside local organisations to ensure maximum efficiency, supplying emergency food and water supplies, shelter and medical help.
Healthy people are simply a pre-requisite for a healthy community which is able to help itself out of poverty; after all, children are the future. We have always promoted and offered free healthcare, focusing on prevention through education and immunisation, and provision of free treatment.
ORFACT continues to provide aid to countries long after a disaster passes. Our work is only complete after we help communities rebuild their lives, helping to develop a strong infrastructure to ensure any future disasters do not have the same catastrophic effects. Income generation projects help communities to cultivate their own produce, benefitting farmers who can then sell their yield for a profit.
Orphan Centres and Sponsorship
We are caring for children in the world’s most disadvantaged areas. Orphans are especially at-risk from the consequences of poverty as they do not have parental figures to help support them. There are 183 million orphans in the world according to UNICEF figures, and ORFACT is working to help secure them a hopeful future through our sponsorship programmes and orphan centres.
The Love in a Box Appeal is a yearly project dedicated to alleviate the suffering of children whose lives have been destroyed by war, poverty, natural disaster, and ill-health by sending quite literally, love in a box!
