Volunteers
Do you have some time to spare? Or perhaps you have special skills that can be used to help vulnerable children? Why not volunteer with ORFACT?
By volunteering your precious time you can be working with us to help orphaned and abandoned children overcome the harsh injustice of poverty. Just a few hours of your time can get you involved in something different and rewarding.
How to become a volunteer
How to become a volunteer
We have an ongoing requirement for volunteers in all divisions across the charity.
We urgently require volunteers to help us at the Global Peace and Unity Event taking place on 23rd-24th October 2010 at the ExCel Centre, London. Volunteers will get a unique chance to view some amazing concerts and listen to influential speakers, as well as having the chance to be involved in raising money for impoverished children across the world.

Even if there isn’t a current vacancy that appeals to you, you can still apply to our volunteer register. We will log your details onto our system and will contact you if a suitable post becomes available.
Roles which volunteers are currently involved in include:
- Organising events
- Giving supporters more information about ORFACT
- Finding work placements for students and graduates
- Raising funds through events
- Auditing
- Overseeing our projects and many others (we are currently receiving legal advice and tax efficient accounting)
Level of Commitment
ORFACT has a very flexible approach to your commitment. We want you to be able to donate the time that suits you whilst making the best use of the skills and experience you have.
Please Note: Whilst ORFACT do not place the volunteers overseas, volunteering in the UK can sometimes act as a stepping-stone to salaried positions both in the UK and overseas.
